Sawyer Picaridin 6 oz Continous Spray is an insect repellent that offers 12 hours of protection from mosquitoes that may carry Zika, West Nile, Chikungungya and Dengue and ticks that may carry Lyme disease and tick-borne Encephalitis. It has a similar effect to DEET, yet it won't harm gear and equipment and is more effective at repelling biting flies. It is virtually odorless and non-greasy. Has a mild citrus scent added to it which evaporates when dry. Active ingredients include Picaridin, 1-Methylpropyl-2-(2-Hydroxyethyl)-1-Piperidine Carboxylate (20.0%). This long-lasting topical spray is effective for up to 12 hours against mosquitoes and ticks, and for up to 8 hours against biting flies, gnats, chiggers, and sand flies. To apply, hold the Sawyer insect repellent spray 4" to 6" away from skin, keeping nozzle pointed away from the face.
